Cutting and Glues
Cutting
Cuts made with a knife, slitter or guillotine are clean and
chip free.
Sawcuts tend to leave chips which can be a problen in printing
operations.
Hi-Core® is easily die-cut on flat bed or rotary equipment
using long-bevel or serrated rule.
Many types of glues will work for specific end
uses
White Glue: Fabric lamination - test for bleed
PSA: Rubber or permanent acrylic
Hot Melts:
Need to remain flexible when set
Silicone: Excellent surface bond
Contact Cements: solvent or water base
We recommend you discuss with a local adhesive
supplier and test for suitability of end application.
