Hi-Core® XL Sheets “Sign Grade”
Matra Plast Industries, Inc. has developed the “Sign
Grade” XL sheets as the obvious choice for exceptional
performance as faces in illuminated signs where cost, performance
and quality are all deciding factors. The extruded twin-wall
profile provides for cost-effective, lightweight strength.
Hi-Core® Sign Grade XL sheets are made from a proprietary
polymer alloy formulated for physical and environmental toughness.
The sheets are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
Notable Properties:
Excellent chemical resistance.
-

Offers uniform diffused light transmission
to reduce hot spots from lighting.
-
Easy to decorate,
handle and install.
-
Unaffected by water, weather
and oxidation.
-
Easily
used as a replacement in all styles of signs.
-
Can
be cold formed to a radius or crease bent to a corner.
-
An
excellent thermal and electrical insulator.
-
Very
good impact resistance even at low temperatures.
-
Excellent
abrasion resistance.
-
Can be easily die-cut to
complex shapes or letters.
